eCommerce Product Manager

(16 Month Contract)

Responsible for all day-to-day Product Management activities for Mimi’s Rock Corp’s (MRC) Health and Wellness portfolio across multiple online channels (e.g. Amazon, e-Commerce, Walmart.com and others). Key focus will be on launching new products and assisting in the introduction of new online market places while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Overall accountability for product life cycle management of entire MRC portfolio and managing all 3 rd party supplier relationships. This role will also act as back up for day to day operational activity (e.g. order/inventory management).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Lead all product management efforts across all sales channels for the entire Mimi’s Rock portfolio. (e.g. product selection, product launch, item set up)
  2. Responsible for managing product launches for all Mimi’s Rock brands on Amazon and by utilizing best in class project management tools and processes
  3. Key contact with all product suppliers (CMO’s) and 3PL partners
  4. Work closely with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure key launch milestones and timelines are met.
  5. Lead portfolio optimization, including product selection, development & rationalization.
  6. Responsible for life cycle management of all products.
  7. Maintain and update third party portals to capture any post launch product changes.
  8. Review and maintain key master data attributes.
  9. Work with supply partners and ensure alignment to performance metrics, while driving constant improvement initiatives.
  10. Secondary support for day to day operations activities – inventory management, forecasting as needed throughout the year.
  11. Provide support on projects and process improvement initiatives.
  12. Responsible for creating and maintaining all product management SOPs.
  13. Routinely audit systems and functionality.
  14. Ability to work cross functionally across all areas of the business, as required, in order to meet corporate objectives.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Marketing and/or Supply Chain for Consumer Packaged Goods industry (or similar)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management
  • Experience working with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMO’s) and 3PL partners preferred
  • Superior MS skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of e-commerce platforms (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to internal and external customers
  • Ability to travel as required
